Drinking 1-2 cups of chamomile tea every day is completely safe. In fact, studies have shown that it is OK to drink up to 5 cups of chamomile tea a day. Historically, chamomile has been used to treat conditions such as:
- Fever
- Headaches
- Kidney, liver, and bladder problems
- Digestive trouble

- Anxiety

What are the benefits of chamomile tea?
Sleep

Digestion

Chamomile tea is widely believed to help with anxiety relief. Chamomile tea is thought to have benzodiazepine-like effects, which are anti-anxiety and sleep-inducing drugs.
Cold
According to some research, inhaling steam infused with chamomile extract or drinking warm chamomile tea may help reduce some symptoms of the common cold, such as headache and nasal congestion.
